Leila Jorg

Student of the Bachelor at Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, Germany.

Leila has been working with children and teenagers for over 8 years in the area of tutoring and mentoring at different institutions.

In this context, the student is visiting regular workshops on the psychology behind learning and self worth in children. 

Leila has been working as a research assistant at her university preparing and executing studies in the field of cognitive psychology.

Her internships in the psychiatric hospital of Kempten, Germany, and the neuropsychology department in the geriatric clinic of St. Gallen, Switzerland have helped her gain practical experience in therapy. 

After university, Leila intends to work as a life coach, helping clients to improve their lives by developing confidence and a positive mindset.

She is passionate about making mental health accessible and approachable to young people with a special focus on supporting women and is committed to spreading her knowledge via social media. As such, Leila has joined the WeARTolerance project in order to help demistify the stigma and prejudice towards mental health.
