Cultural Producer, specializing in performing arts, with a background in graphic design and artistic production in ceramics from the Escola Artística António Arroio in 2007. In 2014, she specialized in Event Production and Marketing at Restart – Instituto de Criatividade, Artes e Novas Tecnologias. In 2023, Raquel obtained the Certificate of Pedagogical Competence as a trainer at Joviform, certified by DGERT, and in 2024, she completed the cultural mediation course at Acesso Cultura, expanding her skills in the cultural field.
Between 2009 and 2011, Raquel collaborated with the Instituto Português do Livro e das Bibliotecas on itinerant projects of staged readings and workshops for children. In 2015, she started as a Production Assistant at the MONSTRA Festival, assuming the role of Executive Producer in 2017, where she co-coordinated the MONSTRA Universitária, MONSTRA à Solta, and MONSTRINHA, as well as the "Monstra xXx" and "BikeIn" program sections.
In 2018, Raquel expanded her knowledge with the Theatre and Psychology – Communication Tools course at ISPA, under the guidance of Nuno Salema. She was involved in the production of the CORTEX Short Film Festival and the Casa Assombrada project with Teatro Reflexo. In the same year, she became a Producer at the Agência Ao Sul do Mundo, serving as a road manager for Conan Osiris and other artists. Between 2021 and 2022, she produced the dance show “Danças Precárias” by Bruno Alexandre.
Since 2018, Raquel has been the co-artistic director and producer of the company Plataforma285 and, as of May 2023, she is responsible for the dissemination of shows for the company Cão Solteiro. Starting in January 2024, she will be a producer for the female film production in Lisbon – MANA A MANA.
